Sorry for the long and overdue proper update! It has been absolute ages but I have tried to occasionally update using my BB. So much has happened since then so I’ll bullet point the main events;
· We went back in June for 2 weeks where the main agenda was to sort out wedding stuff. Alhamdulillah we managed to complete our “Kursus Kahwin” which was on our main to do. Managed to check out materials for the wedding outfits etc so after discussions with my aunts I have a fair idea of what I want. We have now paid the deposit for the hall and have pretty much got a solid date for the wedding.
· On the last day before we flew back, Kimi’s family invited my family for dinner. His mum cooked her yummilicious lauk-pauk but that dinner made me so happy. Seeing the 2 families together under one roof J It was during this dinner that we discussed and finalised the date of the solemnisation and receptions.
· Kimi’s grandmother passed away which resulted in us postponing our flight back. She passed on when his brother arrived in Malaysia from Russia. So their whole family was complete during the funeral.
· A few days after I came back, my sister arrived in the UK and off we went to Barcelona. Had such a brilliant time with my sister and her friends. Barca was beautiful with so many attractions and loved the different architectural buildings. The weather was scorching hot there! I really wanted to go to the beach but we didn’t have time! Only managed to get to the side of the beach and took pictures. I would have loved a day of sunbathing though. It was a great holiday but the only downside to it was the flights. I flew with Bmibaby and they were rubbish! 4 hours delay on the way and 2 hours delay coming back!
· I tuang kerja the day after sebab balik lambat and sgt la penat. Kemudian the day after, boss suruh duduk rumah sebab client tak bagi info that we needed to work. So got a bonus 2 days off!
· In the midst of coming back and Barca, we both finally decided that we wanted to go back for good. I received my offer letter from PNB whilst I was at home where they wanted me to start on the 1st of July. I called them up and said I needed to give notice to my employer. Initially I was going to stay until after the audit of this listed client of ours, but then mum reminded me that raya will be on the 21st September so I decided rather than staying and having to fast whilst working very hard in the month of Sept (for that listed client), I might as well go home and puasa and raya at home. I’m so excited to by finally celebrating Eid with the family. Plus the following year I’ll probably have to celebrate Eid in Penang with the future hubster.
· So I’LL BE COMING HOME FOR GOOD AT THE END OF AUGUST! And finally starting my service to P*nB in September. Yikes!
· My morale and dedication to work is declining by the second and I can’t wait to finish work. I still have 4.5 weeks to go! Sigh…also between now and then I’ll have to start packing!
